rabbit.

It was a dark and foggy after noon. The sky was darkening slowly as I walked down times square. I was quietly walking as the city passed me by. I was almost home as I stumbled across an empty alley. Out of that alley, a man in a rabbit suit came charging at me full force. He pushed me to the ground then lied down, and appeared to be starting to fall asleep took a nap.
“Excuse me sir!” I shouted at the sleeping rabbit.
“Hasn’t you mother ever taught you to NOT bother a sleeping rabbit?” asked the man in the suit
“May I ask why you just attacked me out of the clear blue” I asked curiously.
“ its uh.. nothing.” Said the man.
“I uh thought you were someone” the man said nervously.
“Well I have every right to call the police on you” I said furious with anger.
The man immediately got up from his nap and sprinted. He kept going, and going, and going until he did not appear in sight anymore. 2 miles later, I found him sitting on a curb watching the sunset. As soon as he saw me, the man in the bunny suit desperately tried to hail a cab. The cab came speeding up to the curb, the bunny jumped in, and then they sped away. From that day on, I never saw this man again in my life.
I bet if this happened to you, would freak out, call the police right away, and be terrified. But honestly, I am not scared or frightened in any way. Just a bit confused. Things happening like this, do not surprise me one bit. I just think “Wow, this would happen to me” and then move on. I do not go out and tell everyone my story, because this event was quite normal for my life. Just another day.
So that night, I continued to walk home, get in my house, and go to bed. I wonder what will happen tomorrow.

  1. This story epitomizes the word "eccentric." Imagine how odd it would be to have these events occur all the time.
